नई दिल्ली। वित्त मंत्रालय में पत्रकारों के प्रवेश को प्रतिबंधित करने को लेकर मीडिया में झूठी ख़बरें चलाई गईं। इस प्रक्रिया में शेखर गुप्ता की ‘द प्रिंट’, ‘द वायर’ और ‘स्क्रॉल’ समेत कई मीडिया संस्थान और ‘गिरोह विशेष’ के पत्रकार शामिल थे। वामपंथी नेता सीताराम येचुरी ने इंडियन एक्सप्रेस की ख़बर का हवाला देते हुए लिखा कि पारदर्शिता छिपाने के लिए डेटा में हेराफेरी करने वाली सरकार पत्रकारों को मंत्रालय में नहीं घुसने दे रही है।

इसी तरह न्यूज़लॉन्ड्री व अन्य मीडिया संस्थानों ने भी ऐसी ही ख़बरें चलाई। लेकिन, असलियत कुछ और ही है। वित्त मंत्रालय ने ऐसी किसी भी ख़बर को सिरे से नकार दिया है। मीडियाकर्मियों के प्रवेश के सम्बन्ध में बस एक प्रक्रिया तय की है, किसी भी प्रकार का कोई प्रतिबन्ध नहीं लगाया गया है। पत्रकारों को अधिकारियों से मिले अपॉइंटमेंट के आधार पर प्रवेश दिया जाएगा लेकिन किसी प्रकार के प्रतिबन्ध की बात नहीं कही गई है। नीचे संलग्न किए गए फोटो में आप वित्त मंत्रालय का स्पष्टीकरण पढ़ सकते हैं:
कई पत्रकारों व ‘गिरोह विशेष’ ने इसे मीडिया पर सरकार द्वारा हमला के रूप में प्रचारित करने में कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ी। उन्होंने ऐसा दिखाने की कोशिश की कि सरकार मीडिया से डर गई है और पत्रकारों को मंत्रालय में नहीं घुसने दे रही है। लेकिन, वित्त मंत्रालय के स्पष्टीकरण के बाद इन सभी की पोल खुल गई।
